One Punch Man Season 3 Streams on Hulu and Disney+ October 12
Viz Media confirmed on Tuesday that the third season of One Punch Man will begin streaming on October 12 for much of the world. It is heading to Hulu in the United States, Disney+ in Canada, and Netflix across Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand, with Crunchyroll also carrying it in Latin America and Oceania at the same time.
Behind the scenes, Viz Media has acquired a broad set of rights for the third season, covering theatrical, television, digital, home video, and merchandise across North America, Latin America, and Oceania.
Fans in Europe and the Middle East are covered too, as Crunchyroll plans to stream the season in those regions this fall.
The new season, based on ONE and Yūsuke Murata’s manga, kicked off in Japan with a recap episode before its story proper, airing on TV Tokyo and a range of affiliated channels.
With its release spread across so many platforms and regions, the long awaited return is now easy for fans almost anywhere to follow.
My take: Sorting out where to watch a big series can be a headache, so a clear, wide rollout like this is genuinely helpful. However the season turns out, at least no one has to hunt for it.
