Netflix Adds Dragon Ball Z Season 4 in India on October 15
Netflix is continuing its steady rollout of Dragon Ball Z in India. The service has listed the anime’s fourth season for streaming there starting on October 15.
It is part of a gradual release that began earlier this year. Netflix first added Dragon Ball Z in India in July, followed by the third season in September, and now the fourth.
The classic series remains a cornerstone of the franchise. Dragon Ball Z originally premiered back in April 1989 and ran for a hefty 291 episodes.
Indian fans have had plenty of Dragon Ball to enjoy lately beyond the classics. The most recent entry, Dragon Ball Daima, premiered in October 2024 and streamed in the country on both Crunchyroll and Netflix, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs.
The franchise’s wider catalog has been reaching India too, from Dragon Ball Super on television to its theatrical films, making this latest addition part of a much bigger presence.
My take: It is great to see a foundational series like Dragon Ball Z made easily available in India, especially with local language options across the franchise. Steady access like this is how new generations fall in love with the classics.
