KLab Announces New My Hero Academia Online Mobile Game Coming in 2026
KLab has announced that it has acquired the rights to develop an online mobile game based on the My Hero Academia anime franchise. The company says development is going smoothly and a worldwide release is planned for 2026, excluding mainland China. No title or further details have been revealed yet.
The announcement adds to an already busy year for My Hero Academia games. Bandai Namco Entertainment’s My Hero Academia: All’s Justice is set to launch worldwide on February 6, 2026 for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam, with a February 5 Japanese release date.
The manga that started it all ended its Weekly Shonen Jump serialization in August 2024 after nearly a decade. Kohei Horikoshi added 38 pages of new content to the 42nd and final compiled volume released in December 2024. The anime adaptation has continued past the manga’s conclusion and remains one of the most watched series globally.
My take: KLab has a solid track record with anime mobile games and My Hero Academia is one of the few franchises with a player base large enough to support multiple simultaneous games. It will be interesting to see what angle they take since All’s Justice is already covering the arena fighter space. A proper online RPG or even a story-focused game could fill a real gap.
