Terror Man Webtoon Gets Animated Series in January 2026
TVING, a Korean streaming platform, announced on October 16 that it will exclusively premiere an original animated adaptation of the webtoon Terror Man in January 2026.
The story follows Jungwoo, a high school student who can see disasters before they happen. In order to save as many people as he can, he hides behind the false identity of a terrorist, which pulls him into large scale conspiracies, terrible events, and some difficult moral choices along the way.
The original webtoon is written by Dongwoo Han and illustrated by Jinho Ko. Ahead of the animated version, a special preview clip was shown at the 2025 World Webtoon Festival in the Songpa district of Seoul on October 19.
For readers outside Korea, there is no official digital English version of the webtoon yet, though Ablaze Publishing has been releasing the series in print in English. Ablaze also noted that Studio Bazooka and DR Movie are handling the animation.
My take: A hero who has to play the villain to save lives is a wonderfully tense hook. I am hopeful the animation captures that moral tug of war, and that an English release follows before long.
