Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4: Culling Game Part 2 Trailer
The Jujutsu Kaisen fandom stays winning. A fresh trailer just dropped for the next stretch of the Culling Game, and the otakus are hyped. This continuation is billed as Season 4, and it carries the subtitle The Culling Game Part 2. In other words, it picks up right where Season 3 left off. Better still, the preview is stuffed with glimpses of the arc’s biggest fights.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4: what is going on
First, a quick recap. Season 3 adapted Culling Game Part 1, and it was a worldwide hit. Yuta, Kashimo, Higuruma, and the fan favorite Hakari all got their time to shine. Now Part 2 continues that battle royale. Some fans call it Season 4, while others simply call it Culling Game Part 2. Either way, it is the same story rolling on.

What to expect from Culling Game Part 2
This next batch of episodes is loaded. Studio MAPPA is adapting some of the most beloved fights in the manga, so expect the animation to go all out. Creator Gege Akutami has also said he is excited for fans to see the finale of the Culling Game. Above all, everyone wants the Hakari versus Kashimo showdown, one of the most hyped clashes in the series.

There is even a running fan request. Viewers keep begging MAPPA to use the Brazilian funk track that made edits of the Hakari and Kashimo fight go viral online. It is a funny ask, since fans basically want the anime to match the fan edits. MAPPA does love spoiling its audience, though, so who knows.

Now for the speculation, and it is only speculation. Many fans predict the season will end with Gojo Satoru breaking out of the Prison Realm. Others are betting the following chapter of the story gets a theatrical movie for the Sukuna versus Gojo battle. There is also a rumor about anime only scenes. None of that is confirmed, so treat it as wishful thinking for now.
When does Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 release?
No official date has been locked in yet. However, the current scheduling points to an early 2027 window, with January 2027 looking like the earliest realistic option. So fans should be eating well at the start of the year. In the meantime, you can catch up on the manga through Viz Media and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus.

My take: MAPPA closing out the Culling Game is a big deal, because this arc is where the manga truly went feral. The Hakari versus Kashimo fight alone could be a series highlight if the studio commits, and the trailer suggests it will. I would gently pump the brakes on the movie rumors, since none of that is official yet. Even so, an early 2027 return with these fights on the board is more than enough to be excited about. Now please, MAPPA, play the meme song.
