Gachiakuta Season 2 Teaser: What the New PV Reveals

Gachiakuta is one of the most stylish new gen anime around, and it is coming back. Creator Kei Urana and graffiti artist Hideyoshi Andou built a real visual feast in Season 1. Now a teaser for Season 2 has landed, and the fandom is hungry for more. The PV is short, but it teases plenty. So let us break down what it shows and when the season might arrive.

Studio Bones released the first look PV on July 29, 2026. Before that, it screened exclusively at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles. Most importantly, the trailer confirms the Information Broker arc as the Season 2 target. On top of that, it shows fresh footage of returning faces and new character art.

The good news does not stop there. Studio Bones is back after its strong work on Season 1. Furthermore, the main voice cast returns, alongside director Fumihiko Suganuma and writer Hiroshi Seko. In short, the team is not fixing what already worked.

When does Gachiakuta Season 2 release?

Here is the catch. Studio Bones and Crunchyroll have confirmed active production, but they have not announced a premiere date. So there is no firm release window yet. Still, the studio clearly wanted fans to know the show is very much on the way.

My take: Gachiakuta earning a second season is exactly right, because nothing else on screen looks quite like it. That graffiti influenced style gave Studio Bones a real playground, and the teaser proves the energy is still there. My only worry is the wait, since there is no date yet and second seasons can take a while. Even so, the Information Broker arc is a great pick to adapt next. Patience it is.
