Toonami Adds Blue Exorcist and Mashle Season 2 on November 8
Toonami fans have two new arrivals to look forward to. Adult Swim’s late night block announced on Friday that it is adding Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga and Mashle: Magic and Muscles The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc in the United States starting November 8, which in practice means the early hours of November 9.

The full lineup for that night, all times Eastern, opens at 12:00 a.m. with Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War, followed by Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga at 12:30, Mashle at 1:00, One Piece at 1:30, DAN DA DAN at 2:00, Dragon Ball Daima at 2:30, and Naruto at 3:15.
This is not the first time these two have shared the block. Toonami first added Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga and the original run of Mashle back in November 2024.
Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga, known in Japan as Ao no Exorcist: Yuki no Hate hen, is the sequel to the Shimane Illuminati Saga and began airing in October 2024. Its second cours, The Blue Night Saga, premiered on January 4, and the series streamed on Crunchyroll as it aired.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles started in Japan in April 2023 with a 12 episode first season, and a second 12 episode season followed in January 2024, both available with an English dub. A further sequel is on the way, though the current run is listed as a complete adaptation.
My take: Toonami stacking its night with this much shonen energy is a treat, and it is nice to see Blue Exorcist and Mashle keep finding a home on the block.
