Seven Seas Licenses Luna Knight Manga and Skeleton Knight Audiobook Among New Titles
Seven Seas Entertainment has announced a new round of license acquisitions, including several manga series, a danmei novel, and an audiobook adaptation of the Skeleton Knight in Another World light novel series. The announcement covers a range of genres and adds notable variety to the publisher’s coming catalog.
Luna Knight, created by Hiru Morino, is a manga following high schooler Luna Amano, who has difficulty recalling the past several years of her life. Her older sister had promised to help her make new memories, but then disappeared without a trace. After a tragedy involving the family flower shop triggers something inside Luna, she finds herself capable of far more than she ever imagined. The first English volume is planned for August 2026, available in both print and digital editions.
The Skeleton Knight in Another World audiobook brings a new format to an already beloved series, giving fans of Ennki Hakari’s light novel another way to experience the story of Arc, a gamer who wakes up in a fantasy world inside his game character’s powerful skeleton armor. More information on the audiobook production, including narration details, is expected closer to release.
The danmei novel and additional manga titles complete a varied announcement that reflects Seven Seas’ continued effort to expand English access to Asian fiction across multiple formats and demographics. Full details on pricing and release windows for each title will follow in the coming months.
My take: An audiobook for Skeleton Knight in Another World is a fun format experiment, and it will be interesting to see how the isekai genre translates to audio. Luna Knight continues to look like one of the more emotionally grounded new manga licenses on the horizon.
