Seven Seas Licenses Cheeky Devil Cop and Luna Knight Among Five New Titles
Seven Seas Entertainment has announced licenses for five new titles, covering manga, a light novel sequel, and an audiobook. The announcement adds a varied mix of genres to the publisher’s upcoming catalog across 2026.
Luna Knight, by Hiru Morino, is a manga about a high schooler named Luna Amano who struggles with memory loss after her older sister mysteriously vanishes. When their flower shop burns down and something shifts in her mind, she discovers abilities she never expected. The first volume is planned for an English release in August 2026.
Also joining the lineup is Cheeky Devil Cop!, a manga by Masahiro Abe. The series follows Eclair, a devil in search of a villainous servant, who sets her sights on a rural police officer named Kuwabara Daichi because of his imposing appearance. The first English volume is planned for September 2026. Rounding out the announcement is a slow life isekai following a man named Sanada Shirou who escapes corporate burnout only to wake up in a world where women dominate the battlefield and men are treated as precious rarities. He uses his creation magic to open an inn, with predictably chaotic results.
The full details for each title, including pricing and digital availability, are expected to be shared closer to each release date. Seven Seas continues to build one of the most eclectic English manga catalogs in the market.
My take: Seven Seas has a good eye for titles that do something a little different, and this batch is no exception. Luna Knight in particular sounds like it has emotional depth beyond its action hook, and Cheeky Devil Cop has the kind of absurd premise that tends to work very well in manga form.
