KPop Demon Hunters Toys Coming From Mattel and Hasbro
Two of the biggest names in American toys, Mattel and Hasbro, are usually rivals, but they have both signed on with Netflix as global toy partners for the hit 2025 film KPop Demon Hunters. The companies shared the news on Tuesday, promising a wide range of toys, collectibles, games, and role play products for fans of every age.
The Mattel side of things will bring dolls, action figures, accessories, collectibles, and playsets starting in 2026. The Barbie maker is kicking things off with a three pack of dolls based on the HUNTR/X members Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, with pre sales opening on November 12.
Hasbro is focusing on items like special feature plush, youth electronics, and role play toys. It has already started pre sales for MONOPOLY Deal: KPop Demon Hunters through Amazon, Target, and Walmart as of October 21. That game will cost 12.97 US dollars when it ships on January 1, 2026.
Netflix Chief Marketing Officer Marian Lee said the goal is to give fans the kind of dolls, games, and merchandise they have been loudly asking for across social media.
KPop Demon Hunters is a 2025 musical urban fantasy directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans and animated by Sony Pictures Animation. It premiered on Netflix on June 20 with a voice cast that includes Arden Cho, Ahn Hyoseop, May Hong, Jiyong Yoo, Yunjin Kim, Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong, and Lee Byunghun. The film has become Netflix’s most streamed title ever with around 300 million views, and a sing along event in August even pushed it to the top of the US weekend box office.
My take: When two old rivals team up for one movie, you know it has truly struck a chord. I am happy fans are finally getting the dolls and games they have been asking for.
