In the Clear Moonlight Dusk Anime Adds Two Cast Members
The official website for the In the Clear Moonlight Dusk television anime, known in Japanese as Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki, revealed a new pair of supporting cast members on Wednesday. The series adapts Mika Yamamori’s romance manga and is scheduled to premiere across 28 TBS network stations nationwide in January 2026.
The freshly announced voices are Shouta Hayama as Sentarou Akane and Kentarou Kumagai as Haru Kuwabata, who join the cast as the story’s supporting players.
On the staff side, Yuusuke Maruyama is directing at East Fish Studio, with Ayumu Hisao handling series composition, Yuuki Fukuda designing the characters, and Tsubasa Itou composing the music.
The original manga has been running since July 2020 in Dessert magazine, and Kodansha released its ninth volume in Japan on May 13. English readers are covered too, as Kodansha USA has been publishing the series since September 2021, with its ninth volume due in April 2026.
My take: A new shoujo romance with a warm staff lineup is always welcome news. I am looking forward to seeing how the anime captures the feel of Yamamori’s art early next year.
