Undead Unluck Winter Special Adds Kensho Ono and Takehito Koyasu to Cast

The one-hour Undead Unluck: Winter-hen special has announced two more cast additions. Kensho Ono, known for his role in Spy x Family, will voice a character named Tella, while Takehito Koyasu, familiar to fans from Jujutsu Kaisen 2nd Season, is joining as Balance.

The special adapts Yoshifumi Tozuka’s action comedy manga and is scheduled to premiere on December 25, broadcasting on MBS and TBS.

Seong-Hu Park, who previously directed Jujutsu Kaisen, is helming the project at E&H Production. The script comes from Gakuto Haijima, with character designs handled by Hideyuki Morioka and Shunichi Ishimoto, and music composed by Kenichiro Suehiro.

My take: Kensho Ono and Takehito Koyasu are both strong additions to this cast. A Christmas Day premiere for an Undead Unluck special is a fun way for fans to spend the holiday, and the production team behind this looks genuinely capable.
