Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive Gets TwitchCon Demo and November PC Launch Date
Netmarble announced that Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive, the upcoming new video game in the Solo Leveling franchise, will have a playable demo at TwitchCon 2025 in San Diego, California. Attendees at the official game booth can try the latest build from October 17 to 19, 2025, and there will also be a themed photo station and exclusive giveaways on site. For anyone who cannot attend, Netmarble plans to livestream the game on Twitch during the event.
Arise Overdrive is the second Solo Leveling game from Netmarble, following the free-to-play mobile and PC title Solo Leveling: Arise. Pre-orders for Arise Overdrive are already open. The PC version through Steam and Microsoft’s Games on PC is scheduled to launch on November 17, 2025, while the console versions for Xbox and PlayStation 5 are planned for 2026. The game puts players in the role of Sung Jinwoo in his monarch form, with co-op play for up to four players and dynamic boss encounters.
Netmarble also has a third Solo Leveling game in development called Solo Leveling: Karma, announced earlier this summer. Unlike the previous titles, Karma is said to feature a brand new story not found in the original manhwa or anime. No release date or platform has been announced for that one yet.
On the anime side, both Solo Leveling seasons are currently streaming on Crunchyroll. Season 3 has not been officially announced, though Netmarble recently made a notable investment in the anime’s production committee. A live action adaptation is also in development at Netflix, with two main characters already cast.
My take: Solo Leveling has been expanding in every direction at once, and having a playable demo at TwitchCon is a smart way to build momentum for Arise Overdrive before the PC launch. The announcement of Karma as a game with an entirely original story is the more interesting long-term move, though — that kind of thing can really deepen a franchise if done thoughtfully.
