Seven Seas Licenses Six New Manga and Light Novel Titles

Seven Seas announced a fresh batch of licenses on Wednesday, spanning manga, a light novel, and an audiobook. It is a varied lineup with something for fans of romance, fantasy, and slice of life storytelling alike.

On the lighter side is a short story collection tied to 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!, which offers extra glimpses of Rishe and the rest of the cast. It is due in August 2026 under the Airship imprint.

There is also an audiobook edition of Breathless Time Traveler from Yuyuko Takemiya, with its first volume arriving on December 18 through the Siren imprint.

The manga side brings The Misdeeds of an Extremely Arrogant Villain Aristocrat, The Lord Magear’s Apprentice, and Hotel Inhumans, covering everything from scheming nobles to darker, more unusual tales.

Rounding things out is Draw this, then die!, a thoughtful story about art, talent, and what it really means to create. It won both the 16th Manga Taisho Award and the 70th Shogakukan Manga Award, and an anime adaptation is already in the works.

My take: Licensing news like this is always a quiet joy, since each title is a door to a new favorite. I am especially keen on Draw this, then die!, which sounds genuinely special.
