Full Dive RPG Recap: The Game Worse Than Real Life

This Full Dive RPG recap is about the most realistic game ever made and why nobody should ever play it. Hiroshi is a burned out student who gets talked into buying Kiwame Quest, a legendary VRMMO where every cut hurts, every NPC holds grudges and clearing the game is considered impossible.

The joke at the center of the series is that total realism makes a game worse than real life, and Full Dive commits to that joke completely. Hiroshi’s starting town treats him like a criminal after one mistake, his only ally is the shop clerk who sold him the game, and progress is measured in humiliations survived.

The recap covers the whole run: the disastrous first session, the grind for a single quest clear, the rival players and the stubborn streak that keeps Hiroshi logging back in when any sane person would quit.
