Blood Lad Recap: The Vampire Otaku and the Ghost Girl

This Blood Lad recap follows Staz, a vampire boss of the demon world’s east district who would trade his whole territory for a complete manga collection. His obsession with human culture gets tested when an actual human girl, Fuyumi, wanders into his district and promptly dies.

Reduced to a ghost, Fuyumi becomes Staz’s responsibility and his mission: resurrect her, partly out of guilt, partly because bringing a human back to life is exactly the kind of legendary feat his idol worship of humanity demands.

The recap covers the death, the journey between demon world and human world, Staz’s terrifying family, the treasonous plots around his territory and the fights where the lazy otaku finally shows why his bloodline is feared.
