Labyrinth Anime Film Reveals Main Trailer, Visual

The upcoming Labyrinth (Meikan no Shiori) anime film has received a main trailer and a visual. The former includes a preview of the newly announced Atarashii Gakko! theme song “Sailor, Sail On.”

It was also revealed that Sho Hayami, Maya Sakamoto, and Tomokazu Sugita are part of the cast.

Labyrinth is set for a January 1, 2026 JST release. The story sees reserved high school girl Shiori Maezawa finding herself in a strange world within her smartphone. Meanwhile, the gaudy SHIORI has taken the place of Shiori in the real world and seeks to replace the original, while a young entrepreneur called Suguru Kagami has some scheme in mind.

Labyrinth is directed by Shoji Kawamori (Macross co-creator, Aquarion Evol co-creator and chief director et al., Macross: Do You Remember Love? co-director) and has Sanzigen as the animation production studio.
