Seven Seas Licenses I Like Cat Butts and Six More Titles

Seven Seas announced another round of manga and audiobook licenses on Wednesday, and as usual the lineup runs from the heartfelt to the wonderfully odd.

Leading the charm offensive is I Like Cat Butts, an unhinged comedy about a woman utterly devoted to her chaotic cat, and one feature of his in particular. It is set for September 2026.

Fantasy fans have plenty to look at too, including Reluctant Space Commander: From Death Wish to Galactic Hero, the isekai adventure Loner Life in Another World, and Riku Can’t Be a Goddess, spanning the genre’s many flavors.

There is something for romance and comedy readers as well, from the gentle Give Me a Hug, Mr. Frog! to a short story collection tied to the popular Too Many Losing Heroines!.

Rounding out the slate is Gilded Seven, adding one more title to a varied and genuinely fun looking batch.

My take: I Like Cat Butts is exactly the kind of gloriously silly title that makes me grin, and any cat owner will probably relate more than they would like to admit. A nicely eclectic announcement all around.
