Tokyopop Launches Anime Merch Line With Advent Calendars and Playing Cards
Tokyopop has announced a fresh lineup of officially licensed merchandise featuring art from popular anime, manga, and manhwa titles. The collection includes advent calendars, playing cards, SD figurines, and tote bags drawing designs from series like Attack on Titan, Dr. Stone, Fairy Tail, Tokyo Ghoul, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Sword Art Online, On or Off, and Star Crossed.
Two advent calendars are coming for fans of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Sword Art Online. Each one is priced at $39.99 and was scheduled to release on October 7, 2025. Each calendar comes packed with collectibles like buttons, sticky notes, coasters, mini booklets, pencils, cards, acrylic stands, badges, and stickers.
Playing card sets featuring official key art are available in individual poker sized decks at $12.99 each, releasing December 2, 2025. Designs cover Attack on Titan, Dr. Stone, Fairy Tail, and Tokyo Ghoul. Retailers can also pick up a display bundle with 16 sets for $199.99, launching the same day.
Two more items are already available now. A limited edition tote bag from the manhwa Star Crossed features double sided artwork of King Polaris and Yildun for $29.99, sold exclusively through Tokyopop’s official website. SD figures of Daehyung and Yiyoung from On or Off are also out at $23.99 each, standing about 3.15 inches tall.
The full range of products can be found through major retailers or directly on Tokyopop’s merchandise website.
My take: It is genuinely nice to see manhwa titles like Star Crossed and On or Off getting official merchandise alongside the bigger anime names. That tote bag in particular feels like something fans will actually want to carry around day to day.
