Invisible Man and His Soon to Be Wife Anime Adds Cast Pair
The official website for the anime The Invisible Man and His Soon to Be Wife, based on Iwatobineko’s manga, revealed an additional pair of cast members and a key visual on Friday, ahead of its January 2026 premiere.
The newly announced voices are Tomohiro Ono, known for work on Oshi no Ko, as Karma, and Kaori Ishihara as Light. The two run a tea shop together within the series.
The anime will air at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, with later broadcasts on BS Nippon TV, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto, and it will also stream on ABEMA, U-NEXT, and other platforms.
It is being directed by Mitsuho Seta at Project No.9, who is also handling series composition, with character designs by Kairi Unabara and music by Ruka Kawada.
The story, published in English by Seven Seas, follows a shy woman named Yakou Shizuka and her kind, gentlemanly boss at a detective agency, who happens to have the unusual quirk of being invisible.
My take: The more I hear about this gentle, slightly magical office romance, the more charmed I am. With its premiere now close, I am looking forward to settling into its cozy world.
