Sakamoto Days 275 Spoilers: Nagumo Takes the Hit
Sakamoto Days 275 spoilers are everywhere, and for once the leaks undersold it. The chapter landed on 13 September 2026 on Manga Plus and Viz, and it did the one thing nobody had the nerve to predict. Nagumo does not win. Nagumo does not even survive the page cleanly. He hands the fight over.
The chapter is called Baton, and the title is doing the heavy lifting. This is the moment the story stops being about Nagumo holding the line and becomes about Taro Sakamoto finishing what he promised.
Full spoilers below, plus a catch up on 273 and 274 so you can follow the fight even if you fell behind.
Sakamoto Days 273 and 274 recap

Chapter 273, titled Wish, came out on 30 August 2026. Kei Uzuki is close to unbeatable in this stretch, and the reason is simple. He is fighting with young Sakamoto’s combat instincts and Rion’s eye ability at the same time. Nagumo cannot find an opening.
What he can do is keep Akira Akao out of it. He refuses to let Rion’s niece be pulled into the violence, because staying out of it is exactly what Rion wanted for her.

Meanwhile Sakamoto is on the floor with his torso opened up. He is still conscious enough to insist that he is the one who ends Uzuki. Shin sets off to bring Akao back, because her stitching is the only thing that keeps the most dangerous assassin alive.

Kanaguri, for his part, is treating the whole collapse like a film set. He wants the final shot.
Chapter 274, titled Multiple Choices, came out on 6 September 2026. The fight tears through a train station. Akao gets hurt, and when Nagumo reacts, Rion’s reflection surfaces in Uzuki’s eyes. The story drops into Uzuki’s inner world, where Rion and Sakamoto sit calmly in chairs and Uzuki tries to get an answer out of her.
Nagumo shuts that down. Every death Uzuki caused was Uzuki’s own choice, not Rion’s wish, and Rion would never have backed a mass murderer. Akao says it plainly too. Rion wanted him to have a quiet life, not this one. The chapter ends with Nagumo raising his sword and saying he will never forgive him.
Sakamoto Days 275 spoilers explained
Chapter 275 opens mid swing. Nagumo is about to finish it, and then Sakamoto’s silhouette appears and shoots Uzuki in the back of the head. It is not real. It happens inside Uzuki’s inner world, and the shock of it pulls his Sakamoto persona back to the surface. He catches Nagumo’s blade with his fingers.

Across the station, an exhausted Shin finally reaches Akao. He asks her where the rest of the Order are. She is too shaken to give him anything useful.
This is the turn that makes Sakamoto Days 275 spoilers worth reading in full. He looks up and sees Nagumo on the floor. Uzuki has already put him down. Akao takes it badly. She thinks she could have done more.

Uzuki starts walking toward them. Shin knows exactly how outmatched he is, so he asks Akao for help and then immediately tells her it is not for this fight. Her job is to get to Sakamoto and close him up. She runs. Shin stays.
What follows is Sakamoto’s student against Sakamoto’s younger self. Uzuki punches Shin clean through a wall of the station. Shin gets up and says it does not faze him, because he has watched Mr Sakamoto kill him in his head more times than he can count. They land on a bus, trade blows, and Uzuki drives a knee through the roof with Shin under it.
Akao turns back. Shin tells her to keep running.
What Baton means for Sakamoto Days 275

Then a steel rod goes through someone. For a beat the page reads like Akao is the one impaled. She is not. It is Nagumo, who moved in front of it. Shin, Akao and Uzuki are all equally confused about what just happened.
Nagumo goes down slowly, looking half dead. And in that same moment something hits Uzuki hard enough to leave him bleeding.
Shin recognises the feeling before he sees the source. Only one person carries hostility like that.
Taro Sakamoto is walking onto the battlefield. He said he would be the one to end Uzuki, and chapter 275 closes on him keeping his word. That is the baton. Nagumo carried the fight as far as a body can carry it, then bought Sakamoto the opening with his own chest.
Where the story goes after Sakamoto Days 275
Worth knowing if you are catching up. 275 is not the newest chapter any more. Sakamoto Days has kept a weekly pace through September, so chapters 276 and 277 are already out and the Sakamoto versus Uzuki fight has moved on from where this recap leaves it. If you want the current state of the battle, read forward from here rather than stopping.
The manga is on Manga Plus and Viz. The anime is on Netflix.
If you are here for the anime instead, we broke down the next season in full: Sakamoto Days season 2 trailer, release date and manga recap.
My take: Nagumo taking the rod meant for Akao is the most honest thing this arc has done. He spent two full chapters insisting she stay out of the violence, and when it came for her anyway he put himself in the gap instead of making a speech about it. The shot of Sakamoto walking in afterwards should feel like a win, and it does, but the price is sitting right there on the floor bleeding. Tatsu earned that handoff.
