Hunter x Hunter Chapter 411 Spoilers: The Manga Returns
It finally happened. After roughly two years of silence, Hunter x Hunter returned with Chapter 411 on June 28, and the Succession War is moving again. Yoshihiro Togashi is back and reportedly far ahead, with chapters already drafted deep into the 420s. This is the full breakdown of Chapter 411, plus a recap of 409 and 410 so you remember exactly where the Black Whale left off.

Hunter x Hunter Chapter 409 recap
Chapter 409 keeps us with Borksen and Morena mid card game, a duel where losing can mean dying. Togashi being Togashi, the two even share a kiss over a single Yes card. Borksen, reading that her odds are thin, plays it smart and agrees to join Morena’s side. Morena is delighted and wants her to use her Nen ability, except Borksen hasn’t developed one yet. The obvious read: Borksen is angling to be a mole and to farm a Nen ability by killing along the way.

Hunter x Hunter Chapter 410 recap
Chapter 410 pulls the rug. Borksen’s Yes card wasn’t a free choice at all, it was Nen manipulation, and the manipulator was Morena. Her ability spreads into anyone her card game catches cheating, and the moment Borksen marked the cards to track them, the trap sprang. Join or die.

Morena’s recruitment pitch is chilling in its honesty: her people will betray you the second you stop being useful, because the whole goal is killing. Whether you grow, and whether you stay or walk, is left up to you.

Meanwhile martial law hits the Black Whale under First Prince Benjamin, invoking the emergency article that sustains the monarchy in a crisis. The lower tiers, zones three through five, suffer most while the top decks barely feel it. And a clock is ticking on Benjamin himself, nine and a half hours, hinting the drug that killed Halkenburg may be in his system too. Four princes left.

Hunter x Hunter Chapter 411 spoilers and summary
And now the return itself. Chapter 411 opens on Kurapika running his Nen workshop, second round, with participation swelling to 18 and split into an introductory class and a beginner class. He even promises the students they will be using Nen within two weeks. On the surface it looks generous. It is not. Leaked panels on X lit the fandom up the moment they dropped.

The seminar is pure strategy. Teaching Nen to the princes’ guards and servants thins out the extra security around the royals, and it grows the pool of Nen users Kurapika can work with.
It also serves his real mission: getting into a closed room with Tserriednich to reclaim the Scarlet Eyes of the Kurta Clan. Kurapika does not care whether the other princes live or die. He is even honest that his own students aren’t safe if the plan demands it.
He also lays out the Succession Contest for his class, framing it plainly as a Nen ability. A prince makes a vow in blood, gives up their remaining lifespan to invoke it, and only the sole survivor keeps the power and the empire. Another leak thread broke the rules down panel by panel.
The catch is brutal. The ability must be claimed before the ship reaches the new continent, or it curdles into a curse that could wipe out all of Kakin. And Kurapika’s buried secret is that Prince Woble was never really in the contest, which is exactly why he can afford to guard her while chasing everything else.

My take: A returning chapter that is basically Kurapika running a classroom sounds anticlimactic, and that is the trick. Togashi is quietly reloading every gun on the board, guards, Nen users, the Tserriednich showdown, before the shooting starts. The scary part is that he is reportedly chapters ahead, which means for once the wait between them might actually be short.
