Live Action One Piece Season 2 Reveals Little Garden Visual
The official X account for the second season of Netflix’s live action One Piece, based on Eiichiro Oda’s manga, shared a new visual on Tuesday. The image offers an early glimpse of Little Garden, one of the memorable locations coming to the show.
The new season is set to premiere on Netflix in 2026. Filming began in July 2024 and has already wrapped, so the production side of things is complete.
According to Oda, season two will carry the story all the way up to the Drum Island arc. That stretch takes in Loguetown, Reverse Mountain and Twin Cape, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and finally Drum Island.
Behind the scenes, Joe Tracz, known for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, joins as a writer, executive producer, and co showrunner. He works alongside returning showrunner Matt Owens, with Steve Maeda staying on as an executive producer. Owens shared in March that he would step away after this season to focus on his mental health.
There is more to come as well, since the series has already been confirmed for a third season.
My take: The first season won a lot of people over, so it is exciting to see the journey push into such beloved arcs. Little Garden in live action should be a real treat for fans.
