Suikoden STAR LEAP Manga Adaptation Announced For Monthly Comic Flapper
Konami has announced that a manga adaptation of the upcoming mobile game Suikoden STAR LEAP is in the works, roughly translated to Suikoden STAR LEAP ~Trails of the Stars~.
This series will begin serialization via Monthly Comic Flapper’s December issue, which will go on sale starting November 5, 2025. Further, Aki Shimizu will illustrate the series.
This upcoming entry is set in the same world as past Suikoden titles and within the same calendar, meaning it is canon to the franchise. It occurs a few years before Suikoden I and a little after Suikoden V. There will also be returning characters.
In the narrative, the village where the hero lives is suddenly attacked, and after the attack, you gradually reconstruct it, which will be his home base.
It has been clarified that players will be able to obtain all 108 significant characters (stars) by completing the story without using gacha. STAR LEAP is also specified as an entry point, as it contains a new story and protagonist. Additionally, there is cooperation from Kazuyoshi Tsugawa, who wrote the scenario of Suikoden V.
The microtransactions for this title will be used to recruit characters from other games and initiate other gameplay-enhancing features, such as quickening headquarters development.
Suikoden STAR LEAP will be released globally for PC via Steam, with a mobile version also in the works.
