Anime Limited Home Release Updates – News
Anime Limited has announced details of its upcoming home release on its AllTheAnime website.
Diebuster the 2004 sequel to Gunbuster, will be released on Blu-ray on November 10 in Collector’s (pictured) and standard editions. The Collector’s Blu-ray will contain five art cards; a 16-page booklet containing artwork; and another 16-page booklet on the anime’s collection, written by Jonathan Clements.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will be released on October 24 in a Collector’s Blu-ray edition (pictured) as well as Blu-ray Steelbook and standard Blu-ray editions. The Collector’s Blu-ray will contain a metallic card featuring the character Lucy, three reproduction animation cels; a poster; a 48-page booklet including character, prop and Night City background artwork, key animation images, and a director interview with series director Hiroyuki Imaishi; and also a 112-page storyboard book, featuring full storyboards for the final episode.
The Blu-ray Steelbook edition will have a J-card.
Following its cinema release on October 10, Satoshi Kon‘s Perfect Blue will be released as a Deluxe Edition 4K UHD Blu-ray on December 8. This will include the film in 4K UHD SDR, as well as a Blu-ray disc copy. Extras include a third Blu-ray disc with a 117-minute Satoshi Kon lecture where the director discusses the film. The set will also include a replica quad poster, ten art cards, and a 132-page book featuring artwork, character designs, settings, and a text version of a talk betwee Satoshi Kon and Luna Nagai.
The Dangers in My Heart will be released in Collector’s (pictured) and standard Blu-ray editions on November 17. The Collector’s Blu-ray will contain a poster and a 40-page booklet with bonus manga pages and creator interviews.
Anime Limited also announced two Vinyl soundtrack releases. One is (K)NoW_NAME’s soundtrack for Dorohedoro, a two-disc set to be released in late March 2026. The other is Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 1, which will be released in late January 2026, again as a two-disc set.
