Tatsuki Fujimoto’s ‘Chainsaw Man’ has captured the hearts of Otakus since its debut, it’s crazy, weird, gore, and action packed! The CSM Fans were eager for the release of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc. After its release the theatres all around the world have been exploding, not because of the Bomb Devil but the fans screaming during the action scenes.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will go down as one of the greatest action anime movies of all time, watch out Ufotable you got some serious competition! The CSM Fandom are raising their eyebrows at the Demon Slayer fans, which movie would make the biggest Box Office collection?
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc Review!
The Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc was one of the best cinematic experiences, the battle packed masala drama was something that diverted people’s mind from Demon Slayer. The Manga’s Reze Storyline is perfectly adapted into the Movie. The animation is perfect, so perfect that we have no rights for creating a Pro and Cons about this masterpiece. Sony Pictures has hit it out of the Park with this investment in CSM.
The Voice Actors in Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc have done an amazing job! Most of the time the ‘Seiyus’ are overlooked, but in Japan these guys are like celebrities. The Bomb Devil stole the show of the movie, the Chainsaw Man fandom has started breathing again because of this movie’s success.
After Jujutsu Kaisen’s massive success and Chainsaw Man being sidelined or taking more time than usual, the Fans thought Mappa had chosen favorites, but now we can clearly see that wasn’t the case. Hats off! To the Mappa Animators who worked day and night tirelessly so we could explore more into Denji’s Romantic Life.
We also see Angel Devil, Aki, Beam, but their screentime isn’t much. CSM Fans were just happy to see their favourite characters back on the screen.
Fujimoto Explodes on Screen
Tatsuki Fujimoto is one of the best writers of this century, someone who can write the weirdo Denji and then go on to create something like ‘Look Back’ has to be an enigma. Fujimoto has created the Reze Arc amazingly, to experience it in the form of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc was surreal.
Fujimoto has a different way of saying his story, he is Japanese and that’s why he is unapologetically original. Well, only Fujimoto could think of a panel where Denji gulps down vomit accidentally, and then also writes an emotional scene about a girl creating her manga. If you need a hunch on how weird Fujimoto is, search his video on YouTube where he’s practicing how to levitate.
We expect more in the future from Fujimoto, but for now we thank him for giving birth to the craziness that is ‘Chainsaw Man’.
Denji is Head Over Heel for Reze
Yes, they did keep the Lingerie scene of Makima & Reze! Denji has always struggled being loved and the only thing he wanted to experience was touch some, nevermind. Denji was given false hopes by Makima, Power was his bestie, and somewhere he broke his heart.
In Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc Reze exploded into his life, she exploded later literally. We saw our poor Denji having genuine feelings for a girl for the first time. Some of the scenes in the movie made fans very emotional.

Tatsuki Fujimoto said that he created Reze keeping a love interest in his mind for Denji, that means she was created for our boy! He wanted to keep Denji’s interest away from the control devil Makima, because no love existed there. Only Control. Sounds like a Gen Z Relationship.
The Mappa Showdown

The Otakus complained into Mappa’s ears when they used too much CGI in seasons. But in Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc Mappa decided to do it the old school way. The first half of the movie feels beautiful and melancholic, but the second part is packed with gore action that keeps us on the edge of our seats. It’s beautiful to watch the hard work of Mappa, it’s a treat to our eyes. The Background Score by Kensuke Ushio added masala to the CSM Reze Arc Movie, the sound designs was on point and we felt every explosive on our theatre seats
It was the best decision to adapt this mini arc into a movie instead of episodes, Mappa also didn’t forget the pacing and kept it the same as in the manga.
Full Marks to Mappa for this decision, as anime movies are always editing out important to pack it into a movie. The Pacing was something Ufotable played with during Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Movie, it was disappointing for the fans despite the massive success.
Mappa vs Ufotable Showdown has made our 2025 Crazy, we will see by the end of the year which movie comes out on the top. It’s a wonderful year for the Shonen Fans. The Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is a masterpiece which should be seen by every anime fan in the world!
