Seven Seas Licenses Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy and Five More Manga Titles

Seven Seas Entertainment has announced a new batch of manga licenses. The slate includes Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy, PUNKS TRIANGLE stitch, Yuri Yuri Panic, and My Useless Cuddle Skill Awakened, along with two additional titles.

My Useless Cuddle Skill Awakened, launching from Seven Seas’ Ghost Ship imprint in September 2026, follows Regnard, a student at the Royal Academy of Lasarzia who receives a cuddle skill instead of a useful combat ability and is mocked for it. Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy follows a supernatural romance setup, while PUNKS TRIANGLE stitch and Yuri Yuri Panic round out the batch with very different tonal offerings.

Seven Seas continues to be one of the most active licensors in the North American manga market, regularly announcing new titles across genres from action and fantasy to romance and yuri. This latest batch shows their continued range across both mainstream and niche titles.

My take: Every Seven Seas announcement batch has something for a different part of the manga readership and this one is no different. Yuri Yuri Panic is the title here with the most obvious built-in audience, but the cuddle skill premise is the kind of absurd concept that can develop a real cult following if the writing leans into it properly.
