Kansai TV and Fuji TV announced on Thursday they are launching a new anime programming block that will air on Tuesday nights at 11:00 p.m., titled “Ka-Anival!!”

The first anime to air in this programming block is Tune In to the Midnight Heart, which will premiere on January 6.

The new timeslot’s name is a pun on the word “carnival,” but features the words “Ka” for Tuesday, “Ani” for anime, and “val” (“baru” in katakana) to represent “bar” (as in a tavern). The two exclamation points represent 11:00 p.m., when the anime will air. The title embodies the ideas “wanting to make a timeslot where everyone can gather in front of the TV at night” and “a timeslot that will broadcast anime that will captivate the world.”
