Solo Leveling Watch Order and Arc Guide
Solo Leveling is short, fast and free of filler, but the recap film and the announced movie can confuse newcomers about what counts. Here is the order and how it maps to the manhwa.
Season one
The first season (12 episodes) introduces Sung Jinwoo, the weakest hunter in a world of gates and dungeons, and follows him from the Double Dungeon through the Job Change quest. It adapts roughly the first 45 chapters of the manhwa and ends with Jinwoo becoming a Necromancer.
ReAwakening
Solo Leveling: ReAwakening is a theatrical compilation of season one with the first two episodes of season two attached. Skip it if you watched the season. It exists as a refresher and a theatrical event, not as new story.
Season two: Arise from the Shadow
Season 2 (13 episodes) covers the Red Gate, the Jeju Island raid and the Monarchs’ first moves, adapting through roughly chapter 110. It is the season that won Anime of the Year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards and the one where the shadow army stops being a gimmick and becomes the point.
Beyond the System
Announced at Anime Expo 2026, Solo Leveling: Beyond the System is a new film with no release date yet. Whether it adapts the next arc or tells an original story has not been confirmed, so treat it as a watch when it arrives.
Reading ahead
The manhwa is complete at 179 chapters, so the ending exists. Pick it up around chapter 110 if you cannot wait.
My take: Two seasons, no filler, and the movie is a bonus. Solo Leveling is the easiest recommendation in modern anime, and the manhwa’s ending is worth reaching.
