OceanVeil to Produce an English Dub for Nukitashi the Animation

OceanVeil, the anime streaming platform from WWWave Corporation, has announced it will produce an English dub for Nukitashi the Animation. The dub is a joint production with Kadokawa and Ascendent Animation. Further details, including cast announcements, will be shared at a later date.

Nukitashi the Animation is an adaptation of an adult visual novel by Qruppo and premiered in Japan on AT-X on July 18. OceanVeil streams two versions of the series — a standard cut and a more regulated edit — with a third uncensored version available through select platforms. The anime also aired on BS11, Gifu Broadcasting, KBS Kyoto, and Mie TV.

OceanVeil launched as a dedicated platform for adult oriented anime content, and the decision to invest in an English dub for one of its titles suggests the service is looking to grow its reach beyond Japan.
