Netflix Updates One Piece Anime Fans With New November Streaming Release Date
One Piece fans waiting to complete the “Zou Island” arc on Netflix finally have a release date. The streaming service is soon set to add the arc’s final batch of episodes, allowing subscribers to stream the entire saga on the platform starting this November.
The anime’s “Zou Island” arc follows the Straw Hat crew as they arrive on an island situated on a giant sentient elephant named Zunesha. The island is home to the Mink Tribe, whose nation is found in ruins after a devastating attack by the Beasts Pirates. The events of the arc lead to major revelations about the Road Poneglyphs, while also setting the stage for the “Wano” arc. Netflix has notably divided the “Zou Island” arc into three parts for its platform — Season 25 (Episodes 751-760), Season 26 (Episodes 761-771) and Season 27 (Episodes 772-782). The first two parts of the Zou Arc began streaming on Oct. 1, and according to What’s on Netflix, the concluding batch of episodes is officially listed for a Nov. 1 release.
Entire Zou Island Arc of One Piece to Finally Stream on Netflix This November
The Nov. 1 update only includes the final part of the “Zou Island” arc. This schedule suggests that fans will have to wait for the arrival of the highly anticipated “Whole Cake Island” arc on the streamer, which follows Luffy and a small team as they invade the territory of one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, Charlotte Linlin, also known as Big Mom, in order to save Sanji from an arranged marriage. Netflix has divided the arc into eight separate seasons.
While subscribers await the back-catalog, Netflix is currently streaming the ongoing “Egghead Island” arc, with new episodes dropping weekly. However, these episodes arrive a full week after their premiere in Japan. This delay may have contributed to an underwhelming performance for the arc on the platform. The first part accumulated 5.6 million views since its 2024 release, while the second part, which arrived in 2025, has garnered only 2.6 million views.
The addition of the “Zou Island” arc continues Netflix’s steady acquisition of the long-running anime series. Over the past year, the platform has added several major sagas to its library, including the “Marineford” arc, the “Fish-Man Island” arc and the “Punk Hazard” arc. Earlier in 2025, Netflix also added the entire “Dressrosa” arc, along with the filler “Silver Mine” arc, significantly bolstering its One Piece collection.
Netflix is not the only streaming service expanding its One Piece library in November, as a batch of 65 dubbed One Piece episodes are being added to Hulu starting Nov. 6. This drop includes episodes 747-812, which encompass the “Silver Mine” arc, the “Zou” arc and the beginning of the “Whole Cake Island” arc. This update brings Hulu’s library closer to being up-to-date than Netflix, though it still lags significantly behind Crunchyroll, which maintains the most current collection of One Piece episodes.
