Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Tops Summer Rankings Again
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 has done it again. The series topped the Summer 2026 weekly anime ranking for the second week in a row after episode 12, its second win of the season following the earlier victory for the Turning Point 4 episode.
Why Rudeus keeps winning
Back to back wins this late in a season are rare, and they say something specific about how this show is landing. Season 3 adapts the stretch of the story where Rudeus finally has a family to protect and a past that refuses to stay buried, and the emotional payoff of that combination is exactly what weekly polls reward. Studio Bind’s animation has stayed at the top of the season as well, which matters when the competition includes flashier action shows.
The season has otherwise been a tight race, so a repeat champion this close to the finale makes Mushoku Tensei the clear favorite for anime of the season honors.
Where to watch
Season 3 streams weekly on Crunchyroll. If you dropped the series during its slower stretches, this is the arc most manga and novel readers point to as the reason to stick with it.
The ranking result was reported by Anime Corner.
My take: Mushoku Tensei earns its wins the slow way, by building people you care about and then hurting them. Two weeks on top is the audience noticing.
