Love Live! Hasu no Sora 3D Anime Film Set for Spring 2026
The Love Live! franchise’s virtual idol group Hasu no Sora Jōgakuin School Idol Club shared exciting news during the second day of its fifth live concert tour. The group’s planned 3D anime film now has a title, Bloom Garden Party, along with a first visual and a spring 2026 opening.
The group is one of the newer pillars of the long running Love Live! franchise, featuring members like Kaho Hinoshita, Sayaka Murano, and Rurino Osawa. It is built primarily around the smartphone game Link! Like! Love Live!, which launched in 2023.
That project lets fans spend a full year alongside the idols, walking with them on the path toward graduation, and it extends well beyond the app through music, videos, magazine features, and live concerts.
The film’s character designs come from Haruko Iizuka, known for work on Horimiya, and the group’s story has also expanded into a manga running in Ultra Jump.
Love Live! itself first began in 2010 and has since grown into a sprawling family of idol groups and spinoff projects.
My take: Love Live! has a real gift for making fans feel like they are growing alongside the idols, so a film celebrating this group feels well earned. The spring timing should give it a lovely, blossoming mood to match the title.
