KPop Demon Hunters Is Now Longest-Running English Film in Netflix’s Global Top 10 – Interest

Netflix‘s original animated film KPop Demon Hunters adds another achievement under its belt. It clocks in its 15th consecutive week in Netflix‘s Global Top 10 Movies list, making it the longest-running English-language film ever on the list. The movie also never went lower than #2 during its entire tenure on the list, and it is now #1. The film was watched 19.3 million times in the last week, adding up to a total of 325.1 million times watched in its entire run.
The film is also the most-watched original Netflix title.
Netflix began streaming the film on June 20, and then gave it a two-day theatrical release in the United States on August 23 and 24, when it became Netflix‘s first film to top the U.S. weekend box office. The film also has a “karaoke” version where viewers can sing along.
