Konami Announces Game Creation System Wai Wai World Craft – News
Konami announced at Tokyo Game Show on Friday that it is developing a new project tentatively titled Wai Wai World Craft. The project’s tentative title evokes Konami Wai Wai World platformer for the Nintendo Famicom console, and like that game, the new project will feature characters from various Konami franchises.
Wai Wai World Craft will allow players to design their own game by selecting a classic Konami game as a base for game assets. Players can then define the game’s rules and mechanics. Alternatively, players can type a prompt and the project will “generate” a game within three minutes. Players can also share their creations with other players online.
Konami did not reveal a release date for the project.
