Isekai Metaller Manga Wraps Up Its Final Chapter
Kasuga Ryo’s Isekai Metaller has reached its finale. Hero’s Inc. published the manga’s final chapter on its Comiplex website on Friday, bringing the comedy action series to a close.
If you have not met him yet, the story stars Alex, a die hard metalhead who gets electrocuted during his band’s farewell gig and wakes up in a world packed with dragons, werewolves, and monsters. The real shock is not the electrocution but the discovery that his afterlife is not a quiet resting place at all. Instead, he lands in exactly the kind of world a metalhead would dream of.
Armed with his trusty Flying V guitar, a level 999 power boost, and a heart full of rock and roll, Alex sets out to crank the volume up to eleven and save this wild new land. Dragons become the perfect excuse for a shredding solo, werewolves invite a good headbang, and just about every fight plays out like a rock concert.
Titan Manga is handling the English release, with the first volume out on October 14 and the second due on January 13, 2026. The manga first launched on Comiplex in March 2024, and Hero’s Inc. put out the fourth collected volume in Japan on June 5.
My take: An isekai built entirely around heavy metal is such a fun, silly premise, and I am a little sad to see it end. If you want a lighthearted power fantasy with great energy, this one is worth a look.
