One Piece Novel Heroines, written by Jun Esaka and illustrated by Sayaka Suwa, tells short stories about characters like Nami, Robin, Vivi, Perona, Hancock, Tashigi, Reiju, and Uta. The anime version has already been announced and will feature a new art style, as seen in its teaser visual.
The project is directed by Haruka Kamatani, with designs from Takashi Kojima and scripts by Momoka Toyoda, who previously worked on One Piece: Fan Letter.
Twice has ventured into animation before. Members Jihyo, Jeongyeon, and Chaeyoung performed “Takedown” for Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters. The group is also currently on their This Is For world tour across Asia, after the album with the same name released in July this year.
