Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 9 is on its way, with a confirmed global simultaneous release set for November 2, 2025. The chapter drops at 8:00 AM Pacific Time, which works out to 4:00 PM in the UK, 8:30 PM in India, and 2:00 AM AEST on November 3 for readers in Australia.
The previous chapter made a notable shift into the backstory of the Simurian aliens, introducing a new character named Dura whose ambition is to unite the surrounding region by constructing canals. That storyline also set up an attack on the Deskunte chief’s daughter, the consequences of which are expected to drive much of Chapter 9’s tension alongside the ongoing conflict between the Kalyan and other factions.

My take: The Simurian backstory has been one of the more unexpected and genuinely interesting directions this spinoff has taken. Getting more context for where these characters come from and what motivates them makes the larger story feel richer, and Chapter 9 sounds like it keeps that momentum going.
