They note it is inching toward surpassing the global box office for “Superman” at $615 million. If it passes, that would make Demon Slayer the fifth-highest-earning movie of the year, after Ne Zha 2, Lilo and Stitch, A Minecraft Movie, and Jurassic World Rebirth.
Besides the numbers, the movie has also garnered high praise and reviews, currently holding a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film follows the show’s protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado, and other members of the Demon Slayer Corps as they find themselves in an epic battle against high-ranking demons in an Infinity Castle.

Yes, you will just have to wait a while. There has been no official announcement regarding when the movie will be available on streaming, but there are some theories suggesting it will be sometime next year.
According to Polygon, the previous two Demon Slayer movies went on streaming roughly eight months after they were released in theaters. For example, “Mugen Train” became available exclusively on Crunchyroll in June 2021, eight months after its theatrical release in October 2020.
By that logic, the first Infinity Castle movie is expected to land on streaming sometime in May 2026.
