I Want to End This Love Game Anime Reveals Cast Staff and April 2026 Date
The anime adaptation of Yūki Dōmoto’s manga I Want to End This Love Game has announced its main cast, key staff, and an April 2026 premiere date. A teaser visual has also been shared through the official website.
Kaito Ishikawa will voice Yukiya Asagi and Miku Itō will voice Miku Sakura, the two leads of the series. The manga has been serialized on the Sunday Webry website since 2021, with Shogakukan publishing the seventh compiled volume on June 18. Viz Media has been releasing the English edition, with the sixth volume out on May 13.
Azuma Tani is directing the anime at Felix Film. Keiichirō Ōchi is handling the series scripts, Yūki Fukuchi is designing the characters, and Akito Matsuda, known for the Sound! Euphonium and Non Non Biyori franchises, is composing the music. Dōmoto is also known for the Necromance manga, which Seven Seas Entertainment has released in English, as well as the manga adaptation of the Girlish Number project.
My take: The combination of Kaito Ishikawa and Miku Itō is a strong casting choice, and having Akito Matsuda on music sets a promising tone. The April 2026 date gives fans something concrete to look forward to, and Felix Film has been putting out interesting work lately.
