‘Hokuto no Ken: Kenougun Zako-tachi no Banka’ Spin-off Announces New Cast

The official X (formally Twitter) for the short anime adaptation of Hiroshi Kurao’s Hokuto no Ken: Kenougun Zako-tachi no Banka (Fist of the North Star: Elegy of the Fist King Army Grunts) spin-off manga revealed new cast members on Friday. The anime is scheduled to air and stream in January 2026.

Nobu: Hiro Shimono (Tonari no Seki-kun)

Zaku: Shinnosuke Ogami (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze)

Buzz: Masaaki Yano (Nami yo Kiitekure)

Narrator: Shinya Takahashi (Kinsou no Vermeil)

Kurao serialized the spin-off manga on the Manga Hot app from November 2017 to February 2020. Coamix published the third and final volume in March that year.
