Given 10th Mix Manga Volume Ships With Four New Anime Episodes on DVD
The compiled book volume for Given 10th Mix, the spinoff manga of Natsuki Kizu’s Given, shipped in Japan on October 1, 2025. A limited edition of the volume came bundled with a new anime DVD containing four original episodes: “Uka” (Emergence), “Yama e” (To the Mountains), “Ai no Waltz” (Love’s Waltz), and “Yoridori Given” (Given Your Choice).
The Given 10th Mix spinoff launched in Shinshokan’s Chéri+ magazine in January 2024 and concluded this past March 2025. Its story takes place ten years after the events of the main Given manga.
The original Given manga by Natsuki Kizu began in Chéri+ back in 2014 and ran until March 2023, ending with nine compiled volumes. Viz Media’s SuBLime imprint is releasing it in English. The franchise has grown considerably since the manga began, spanning a television anime that premiered on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block in July 2019, an anime film that opened in Japan in May 2020, and an original video anime that shipped with the seventh manga volume in December 2021. All of these are available to stream on Crunchyroll.
The series has continued expanding in recent years. Two sequel anime films followed, with Eiga Given: Hiiragi mix debuting in Japan in January 2024 and Eiga Given: Umi e opening in September 2024. A live action series adaptation also aired on Fuji TV’s FOD streaming service in July 2021, and the franchise has had two stage play adaptations as well.
Given has been a consistent presence in the boys love space and this new DVD bundled with the 10th Mix volume is a welcome treat for fans who have followed the story from the beginning.
My take: Given remains one of the more emotionally resonant series to come out of the boys love genre, and the fact that it keeps expanding through films, OVAs, and stage adaptations says a lot about how deeply its audience connects with these characters. Four new anime episodes is a generous addition to any manga volume.
