His grandfather always warned him to never reveal his true nature to anyone, but after finding the killer, Jeong loses control and becomes the Scythe Killer Demon, slaughtering dozens with a wild smile on his face. He’s defeated instantly by the martial artist who killed his grandfather and ends up on death row, sentenced to be drawn and quartered. But then a mysterious young master visits his cell with an offer – become his stand-in at the Mok Sword Manor, swallow a poison pill for control, and live in luxury. Jeong agrees, but the moment they leave the prison, he snaps the young master’s neck and declares himself the real Mok Gyeongwoon. Now poisoned and controlled by Guard Kam, Jeong discovers he’s immune to most poisons from eating herbs his whole life. He poisons Guard Kam’s disciple Goh Chan with his own blood and forces him to reveal everything about the manor. The manor master is dying from a mysterious illness, and the four sons are preparing for a succession war. Jeong realizes this is his chance – he’ll live as the third young master, learn martial arts from within the clan, and grow strong enough to kill his grandfather’s murderer.
