Demon Slayer Anime Slashes Into KFC for Finger-Lickin’ Good Meal Sets Starring Tanjiro & Nezuko
KFC recently launched a new marketing campaign for the new anime film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle. For a limited time, customers in French branches of the fast food chain will be treated to a mouthwatering new menu, in addition to exclusive pieces of merchandise spotlighting the movie’s heroic sibling duo, Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado.
Per Essential Japan, KFC’s new campaign is centered around two unique new sandwiches featuring Japanese-style ingredients. The first, Tanjiro’s ‘creamy wasabi’ burger, features a thick filet of KFC’s famous chicken on a brioche bun with bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, pickles, and caramelized onions topped with creamy wasabi sauce. Nezuko’s ‘Crispy Teriyaki’ burger includes chicken, cheddar cheese, salad and pickled red onions, which feature the same colors as her classic pink-and-red kimono. The sandwich is also smothered with a savory teriyaki sauce. Official images of both menu items at KFC France can be viewed below.

For both aforementioned items, KFC customers can choose between spicy or non-spicy chicken for the burger base. Additionally, each sandwich can be purchased either separately or as part of a “box” combo with fries, a drink and a small sundae. A second option offers buyers the opportunity to purchase the sandwiches as part of a “merchandise-inclusive” meal bundle, which includes exclusive KFC and Demon-Slayer themed T-shirts. Notably, these shirts are available in extremely limited quantities and have reportedly sold out at certain KFC locations. The campaign is scheduled to run until Oct. 14, 2025.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle premiered in Japan on July 18, 2025. Since its initial release, it has shattered the previous domestic box-office record held by Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train, making it the single highest-grossing film in Japanese history. Infinity Castle has also surpassed Pokémon: The First Movie as the single highest-grossing anime film ever released in North America. The film also performed remarkably among French audiences, earning roughly US$10 million during its first theatrical weekend. As of Sept. 26, Infinity Train has earned a staggering $555 million worldwide.
Based on the titular manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is set in a fantasy world inspired by Taisho-era Japan. Living quietly in a small village, Tanjiro and Nezuko’s lives are upended when a horde of demons slaughters their parents and steals Nezuko’s humanity. Determined to restore his sister to normal, Tanjiro joins up with the Demon Corps — a group dedicated to traveling and hunting down demons. Part 1 of an announced trilogy, Infinity Castle chronicles the final stretch of Tanjiro and Nezuko’s journey as they infiltrate the labyrinth-like lair to confront Demon King Muzan and the Twelve Kizuki.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle is currently in theaters. The Demon Slayer anime series is available to stream on Hulu, Netflix and Crunchyroll. The original Demon Slayer manga series is available in English from VIZ Media.
