Dark Gathering Season 2 Is Confirmed and in Production at OLM
Dark Gathering is officially getting a second season, and this time there are real production details attached. The anime will be produced at OLM, the same studio behind season one, and Hiroshi Ikehata is returning as director.
A teaser visual has already been released alongside the announcement, which gives fans something to look at while waiting for more information. No air date has been set yet, but having both a studio and director confirmed is a good sign that things are moving.
For those who missed the first run, Dark Gathering is a horror series about a boy whose unusual ability to attract evil spirits pulls him into increasingly dangerous ghost-hunting situations. The first season streamed on HIDIVE.
My take: Dark Gathering is a great pick for horror fans who want something a little more unsettling than the typical fantasy adventure. Knowing season two is at the same studio with the same director is reassuring. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes.
