Crunchyroll’s Biggest Action Anime Confirms Delay to English Dub Release Schedule
During the summer, the animeverse got the best treat of the year with the release of what would become one of the best action anime. Released on July 6, 2025, Gachiakuta is that anime and then some, and it is scheduled to return for its second Cour this month. However, before then, there’s some worrying news as we’ve learned that there will be a delay to the series’ English dub release schedule moving forward.
The latest Gachiakuta update implies that from its next Cour, fans won’t be getting an English dub release until much later, as announced by the anime’s official social media account. The dub will instead be released two weeks after each episode, with Episode 14’s dub premiering on October 26, 2025. This is a surprising change from the first few episodes, which released English dubs at the same time the Japanese language version of the episodes landed.
While this is certainly not what English-speaking fans expected just days before Gachiakuta returns, they’re still excited about what’s to come — especially since there’s a new war on the horizon between the Givers and the Raiders. Part 2 of the hit anime kicks off on October 12, 2025, with Episode 14 titled “The Storm Before the Storm,” translated from “Arashi no Mae no Arashi.”
A Big Storm Is on the Way in ‘Gachiakuta’ Part 2
The voice cast of Gachiakuta Part 2 includes Maria Naganawa as Guita, Mutsumi Tamura as Noerde, Hiro Shimono as Fu, and Akio Otsuka as Bundus. A riveting new trailer has also been released courtesy of Crunchyroll, teasing the chaos ahead, which you can check out below. Alongside the teaser, it has been confirmed that the new opening theme is titled “LET’S JUST CRASH” as performed by Mori Calliope, and the new ending theme is titled “BAN” by karanoah. Fumihiko Suganama is directing the Gachiakuta episodes for studio Bones, with Hiroshi Seko handling the scripts for the series. Satoshi Ishino is the character designer and serves as chief animation director, and Taku Iwasaki is composing the music.
Gachiakuta returns soon. Stick with Collider to find out more updates and watch Part 2’s trailer below.
