Crunchyroll Manga App Launches October 9
Crunchyroll has announced its new premium add-on and app, Crunchyroll Manga, will launch on October 9 for iOS and Android in the U.S. and Canada, with web to follow on October 15. At launch, the ad-free manga app will offer hundreds of titles from renowned publishers like AlphaPolis, COMPASS, Square Enix, VIZ Media, and Yen Press, with additional partners like Shueisha, J-Novel Club, ThirdlineNEXT, and highstone to follow in the future.
Powered by leading Japanese digital manga service developer Link-U Group, Crunchyroll Manga will feature some of the biggest manga franchises available, including One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Daemons of the Shadow Realm, My Dress-Up Darling, The Summer Hikaru Died, Lycoris Recoil, Delicious in Dungeon, Sasaki and Miyano, Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy, Maiden of the Dragon: Falling for the Demon’s Lies and many more (lineup is subject to change).
Crunchyroll Ultimate Fan subscribers ($15.99/month) can enjoy Crunchyroll Manga at no extra cost, along with additional benefits like 15% off select products, Crunchyroll Game Vault, and more. The app will be available on all tiers as an add-on to their existing Crunchyroll subscription. All tiers include unlimited ad-free reading across mobile, tablet, and web, along with the ability to download chapters for offline reading, toggle light or dark mode, view full 2-page spreads, and build a personalized reading list with curated recommendations.

Crunchyroll Manga will be featured at the Crunchyroll booth (#1643) at New York Comic Con 2025, which runs from October 9 to 12 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The booth will host hands-on demos and panels.
