Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Genma Seisen-hen Anime Set for January
The official account for the Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise has announced a new anime, Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Genma Seisen-hen, which translates to the Phantom Star Battle Arc. It is scheduled to debut in January 2026.
The news arrived just as the Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez DELUXE Finals anime wrapped up its 12 episode run. That chapter had premiered in early July, following the DELUXE Arc that began back in January.
On the music front, the group Kis-My-Ft2 has been performing the opening theme Meramera, with Hina Aoki on the ending theme.
The Divinez line is the latest stretch of a long running card battle franchise that has kept a steady release rhythm, moving from one arc straight into the next.
My take: The Vanguard machine just keeps rolling, and I admire how seamlessly each arc hands off to the next. For longtime players, that uninterrupted flow of new episodes is part of the fun.
