Burger King Japan Serves Up Kagurabachi ‘Flame Smoke’ Burgers
Burger King Japan is teaming up with the hit manga Kagurabachi for a limited time set of Flame Smoke burgers, a fun nod to the series’ fiery, blade swinging theme.
Three burger sets are on offer, each spread with a smoke flavored mayonnaise: a Flame Smoke Double Cheeseburger, a Bacon Double Cheeseburger, and a Chicken Double Cheeseburger, priced at 1,190 yen apiece.
The real draw for fans is the bonus. Every set comes with an original acrylic keychain featuring one of three characters, Chihiro Rokuhira, Hiyuki Kagari, or Hakuri Sazanami. Each location only hands out a single design, so collectors may need to shop around.
Takeru Hokazono launched Kagurabachi in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2023, and the series quickly built a passionate following, reaching well over two million copies in circulation.
My take: A smoky burger tie in for a sword and flame manga is a clever bit of theming. Kagurabachi’s rapid rise has been a joy to watch, and these collaborations are a sweet sign of just how beloved it has become so quickly.
