Go for It, Nakamura! Anime Reveals New Theme Songs
A new promotional video for the TV anime adaptation of Syundei’s Go for It, Nakamura! boys-love manga revealed the anime’s theme song. Senri Oe performs the opening theme song “Glory Days,” and Princess Princess performs the “Sekai de Ichiban Atsui Natsu.”
The anime’s cast includes:
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Okuto Nakamura
- Yuki Sakakihara as Aiki Hirose
- Takuya Eguchi as Sou Otogiri
- Fairouz Ai as Hifumi Kawamura
- Yukihiro Nozuyama as Kota Takeuchi
- Atsushi Tamaru as Ryou Mukai
- Makoto Koichi as Yuka Hamaoka
- Yume Maihara as Masako Okuda
- Tsubasa Sasa as Tsukasa Omori
Kappei Yamaguchi and Junko Takeuchi are also a part of the cast, but their characters have not been revealed yet.
Originally planned to premiere in 2025, Go for It, Nakamura! will premiere in 2026. Crunchyroll will stream the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS as it airs in Japan.
Aoi Umeki directs the anime, writes the scripts, and designs the characters. Drive is animating the series, Naoki Yoshibe is the assistant director, and Yasuko Aoki (Studio Monado) writing and overseeing the series scripts. Ayana Tsujita is the music composer.

Syundei launched the Go for It, Nakamura! manga in December 2014. The series is still ongoing with the sequel manga, Go for It Again, Nakamura!, which launched in June 2017. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the series in English. Lastly, here’s a synopsis of the series, via Seven Seas:
